Dennis, If you are primarily interested in frequencies no higher than about 500 Hz you should be fine using the stinger. Higher frequencies than that you would probably want to find another way to attach the sensor. The actual upper frequency limit will vary depending on the exact length of your stinger and the sensor you are using it with. Skip Hartman
