Society for Machinery Failure Prevention Technology (MFPT)

ABOUT THE MFPT SOCIETY

The mission of the Society is to provide leadership to the multi-disciplinary science and technology community working to reduce the impact and incidence of machinery failure by supporting structured interchange of technical information, education and access to the machinery user community, the Society's principal customer. Founded in 1967 as the Mechanical Failures Prevention Group, the Society's goal is to be the internationally recognized information resource in machinery failure prevention, life extension, sensors, diagnostics and prognostics technology and to take the lead in facilitating the widespread use of these technologies.
